GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE

Tasting Menu

For a truly relaxing evening, put yourselves in the hands of our Executive Chef, who has created a tasting menu consisting of 8-courses. This menu mirrors the restaurant’s commitment to only using the freshest and in-season produce. Ingredients such as zucchini, courgette and mussels.

To complete your magical experience, a wine pairing is available, thoughtfully curated for each course by our food and beverage manager Eric Gauci, with bottles chosen from Ta’ Frenċ’s award-winning wine cellar.

If choosing the Tasting Menu, please be aware that it cannot be ordered individually; it can only be taken by the whole table.
  • Pâté
    Chicken liver pâté, pickled grapes, dried fruit chutney, warm brioche
  • Zucchini
    Warm grilled zucchini, marinated local sheep’s cheese, hazelnuts, bread crisps, rocket leaves
  • Consommé
    Chicken consommé with hints of ginger and soy, confit potatoes, slow cooked chicken meat, herbed chicken mousse
  • Pasta
    House-made cannelloni with braised rabbit filling, chickpea purée, rabbit liver, spiced rabbit jus
  • Fish
    Poached meagre fillet, herb mousse stuffing, courgette purée, mussels, spinach, mangetout and baby leeks, Champagne and chive sauce
  • Sirloin
    Grilled sirloin, textures of onions, light beef tongue salad, black peppercorn sauce or red wine sauce
  • Pre-dessert
    One bite sphere
  • Affogato
    Blonde chocolate cream, coffee and hazelnut crumble, Bailey’s ice-cream, warm chocolate and espresso sauce
